Aluminum as the main alloy elements in copper alloy called aluminum-bronze. The mechanical properties of aluminum-bronze are the highest than brass copper and tin-bronze. Aluminum contents in aluminum-bronze in practical application are from 5% to 12%. Aluminum-bronzes plasticity is the best in the case aluminum contents from 5% to 7% and it is suits for cold processing. If aluminum contents more than 7% to 8%, its strength increasing and plasticity will decline sharply; therefore to use mostly after casting or heat processing. The resistance and corrosion resistance in atmosphere, seawater, seawater carbonic acid and most organic acids of aluminum-bronze is the highest than brass copper and tin-bronze. Aluminum-bronze can be manufactured to high-strength resistance parts as well as high corrosion resistance flexible components such as a gear wheel and a worm wheel etc.
